Sabine, Houdon’s eldest daughter, at the age of four, is part of a corpus of works by the artist whose theme is children portraits. He also represented Anne-Ange, and Claudine, his two other daughters. In front of the success, HOUDON made trade of replicas in plaster or terra-cotta, bearing the stamp of the workshop, in the back or on the piedouche.
